"The magazine pitch is really good and explains in detail what will be included in your magazine."
"I love the magazine name 'Untouched' because it's different to all the rest of the market."

SoundCloud Playlist
Here is a list of songs I have chosen for inspiration on my magazine. All of these belong to the Indie genre and most of them are relatively small and unknown bands which suits the type of artists and bands my magazine will be writing about.
25 Word Pitch
My magazine is an indie magazine called Untouched that has a target female audience of creatives, hipsters, scenesters, and young alternatives of the ages 17- 30 years old. My target audience will be interested in listening to upcoming and unique indie bands. The magazine needs to be eye-catching in order to stand out so it will have an attractive vintage-styled yet modern colour scheme of brown, cream, black, and light maroon. My magazine will be £2.50 as this if both affordable, profitable, and suits my age range. The language used in my magazine will be descriptive as the magazine is aimed towards an older audience that will want to read more sophisticated articles. Older readers will be more intrigued with indie music as by now they would have decided what genre of music they prefer.

Institution to Publish my Magazine
Bauer Media Group
This institution might publish my magazine because they have often become associated with magazines in my genre before. Bauer Media Group were the ones who first published Q magazine, which at the time was a similar magazine to my own and is also one of the magazines I have been researching for inspiration. Bauer Media used to be a small publishing house but have now published over 600 magazines, 400 digital products, and 50 radio and TV stations. It's important that this publishing house is fairly large so it can distribute more magazines so more people will read it. They have also published a range of different genres in the past including Kerrang! which is focused about rock and metal music, which means they would possibly be able to help me with my own magazine.
Magazine Creator
"Ohlman Consorti is a Paris based creative consultancy specializing in advertising, brand identity, editorial, packaging and digital media for the fashion and cultural industries." - www.ohlmanconsorti.com
I have chosen Ohlman Consorti as my magazine creator inspiration as his style of magazine often have a vintage yet unique look to them which is the style I'm going for as this is a look that appeals to my target audience. Being unique is vital when making an indie magazine because I want my magazine to be eye-catching and stand out to readers - this will not happen if my magazine is the same as all the other magazines.

Graphic Designer
I have chosen Evan Travelstead for my graphic design inspiration because I like his use of retro-styled designs with a slight modern touch. His ideas are often quite abstract as well as using a tradition bold font that stands out against retro-styled image. I like his use of colour palettes as he is able to avert from a pale, natural looking lighting effect, to something colourful and abstract looking. His use of bold writing and simple patterns means the writing stands out and his work often looks quite modern. A lot of his work is quite simple though still makes an impression which is the kind of style I am lookinf for in my own magazine.
Photographers
I chose these two photographers because they are both prone to taking images that have a model, with a plain background, unique camera angles, and quite bright and pale lighting effects. This is the kind of photography technique I want to adopt when taking my own images for my magazine as I feel this kind of technique will allow me to have a large image of the model on my cover yet the paleness to it and the blandness of the background will ensure that the attention isn't taken away from the text surrounding the image. I also like this technique because it shows more detail in the model's pose and emotions as the background isn't taking the attention away from this. Because of my chosen colour scheme, I wanted the lighting of my main image to be quite pale to suit this which is why I have chosen these certain pictures.
